Privacy Policy
We collect what we need to sell you a fire pit and get it to your door: your name, email, delivery address, phone number, order history, and payment confirmation details. We do not store full card numbers — payment is processed by our payment provider, and we receive only a token and the last four digits.
What we do with it
- Fulfil your order, including sharing your delivery address and phone number with the freight carrier.
- Send transactional email: order confirmation, shipping notification, delivery scheduling.
- Send marketing email only if you opted in. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- Measure site performance with privacy-respecting analytics; we do not sell personal information.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold, and may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CPRA. To exercise a right, email privacy@lecens.com with "California request" in the subject line. We verify requests using your order email and will respond within 45 days.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working. Analytics cookies are optional and can be blocked without breaking the store. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where technically supported.
Retention
Order records are kept for seven years for tax and warranty purposes. Marketing contact data is deleted within 30 days of unsubscribe.
Terms of Service
By placing an order you agree to these terms. This site is operated by LECENS ("we", "us"). Company registration details and the registered business address are available on request and are listed in your order confirmation email.
- Pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and applicable state and local rates. We reserve the right to cancel an order priced in error and refund in full.
- Orders. An order is accepted when we send the shipping confirmation, not when payment is authorized. If an item is out of stock, we will offer an alternative or refund.
- Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address you provided. Report visible freight damage on the carrier's paperwork and photograph it before signing where possible.
- Warranty and liability. Products carry the warranty described on our support page. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing here limits rights you have under state consumer protection law.
- Intellectual property. The LECENS name, logo and site content are ours. Product photography may not be reused without written permission.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which our U.S. entity is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Shipping Policy
We ship to the 48 contiguous United States. Orders over $399 ship free curbside; under $399 a flat $49 applies. Processing takes 2–3 business days, and transit takes 2–7 business days.
Propane cylinders are not included and cannot be shipped. Gas tables and bowls use a standard 20 lb cylinder; the Trailhead uses a 1 lb disposable cylinder. Both are widely available locally. Cylinders are regulated as hazardous materials and are not accepted on returns.
Units over 100 lb travel by freight carrier with liftgate service. The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery; someone 18 or older must be present for inside placement and white glove service. Three failed delivery attempts may result in storage fees or a return.
Return Policy
30 days from delivery. Unopened items in original packaging receive a full refund minus outbound shipping. Opened, unburned items in resalable condition receive a refund minus return freight. Units that have been lit cannot be returned, and fire media that has been poured into a tray is not refundable. Damaged or defective items are replaced or refunded at no cost when reported with photos within 48 hours of delivery. See the Returns section for the full process.
Accessibility Statement
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This site uses semantic HTML, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus states, and respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting. Text contrast targets 4.5:1 or better against its background.
If any part of this site prevents you from completing an order, email care@lecens.com or call us during business hours and we will complete the order for you directly. We treat accessibility reports as bugs and fix them.
Template notice: these policies are a starting point written for a U.S. direct-to-consumer outdoor-fire store. Gas appliances carry additional obligations — including CPSC reporting duties under Section 15(b) — that this template does not attempt to cover.
